Beginning for the Fall 2020 Season, JCB has streamlined the process for coaches and parents background checks.
You no longer submit a form and photo to CAA (Creeks Athletic Association) and await approval for clearance and the badge to be dropped at Mills Field.
The NEW process will have each head coach, assistant, team mom or any parent working with players on the field or in the dugout to follow the link below to complete the background check and Safe Sport Act training.
If you are not familiar with the Safe Sport Act of 2017, you can get additional information here. The training is on-line and takes about a half hour to complete. It teaches coaches/parents about child abuse and the procedures for reporting it.
Each head coach, assistant coach, team mom or other parents working on the field and dugout will be required to complete the registration. The background check and training is only required every other year.
JCB will be notified immediately when a background check and training has been completed and can monitor real-time the folks that have started the process and have been cleared.
If you have not been cleared through this process you WILL NOT be allowed on the field. So please do not procrastinate.
Complete this within 2 weeks of your team's first practice.
